1976 Honda MR175 Elsinore
Very nice bike overall. Starts easily and runs well. Speedometer shows 2009 miles. Tank does have a dent in it with a few paint chips. Tank has a liner in it and appears to be holding up well. Some areas on the frame are a bit worn and missing paint and now have a little surface rust. Chrome bits have a few rust spots here and there but overall it is in pretty good condition. No holes in the seat. Tires in good shape. Original plastic fenders in great shape. Original taillight and headlight. At some point someone added some fold up footpegs to the rear and they are welded to the swingarm. Here is a quick startup video of the bike- As I have stated the bike looks very nice as it is. A person may want freshen it up a bit by touching up a couple of areas on the frame and repainting the exhaust though. Sale includes the original tool kit, owners manual and brochure. This was an off-road trail bike with speedo and lights but no brake light, only taillight. It is not street legal and does not have a title. eBay requires that I choose an option for the title. I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE FOR THIS OFF ROAD MOTORCYCLE. Bill of sale can be provided if needed. If you want to see high-res pics just let me know and I can email them. Wed, 05 Jun 2013Brothers Ben and Tom Birchall rebounded from a disappointing finish to the first Sure Sidecar race with a solid victory in their second race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The Birchall brothers had the early lead in the first race but were forced to retire on the first lap after puncturing a tire. Their second race went much better however, as they led from start to finish for their first ever win at the Isle of Man.
Hero MotoCorp Reveals RNT 150 Turbo Direct Injection Diesel Concept
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Hero MotoCorp revealed a new scooter concept powered by a 150cc turbocharged direct injection diesel engine. And if that isn’t unique enough, the concept is also two-wheel drive, with an electric motor in the front wheel hub. It’s too soon to know when the Hero RNT 150 TDI concept will ever make it to serial production, but the scooter does represent a technological show of force, proving that Hero can carry on its own research and development following its split from longtime partner Honda.
