New 3.50x10 tires, all new grey control cables, new handlebars and new headlight assembly. Original seat with a couple flaws and a crack but feels comfortable. Larger rear taillight.Horn, brakes, lights work with larger rear taillight. Speedo has new cable but not working. You are bidding on a survivor 1970 Honda CT 70. This Honda is in great condition, with just over 2200 miles. It is a great color: the best in my opinion, and is a very tight ride. It is all original with the exception of a reproduction carb. The original carb is included in the sale. The carb that is on it needs minor adjustment, but the bike starts very easily, (one or two kicks) and does not smoke. Check of the video of the running below: The images show how clean this bike is, it is missing just a couple of items: a reflector on the side of one of the forks, one button on the handlebars, and it does not come with a battery. I believe all cables are original. The rear foot brake needs adjustment. The original seat cover does have a tear in the front. This is a great iconic CT 70 - the right shock is not bent like most are, and the bike is very clean and a good runner. It hauls my 180LBS to 35 MPH easily. Located in Missoula, MT. I will hold the bike for 30 days after payment is made.

Barn find 1974 Honda Trail 70,CT70.This is an unmolested,original Honda 70.This is the way the bike was found,I decided not to clean it,just get it running.Looks like the previous owner recently made an attempt to get it running by replacing spark plug and points.I acquired it non running,to get it running I cleaned and flushed the gas tank,changed fuel lines and it took a couple tries of cleaning the carb to get it working properly,has not been rebuilt.Replaced spark plug,cap,points,condensor.The 70 now runs very smooth,although to me sounds like there is a very small exhaust leak near the head,I could be wrong. I have yet to see another ct70 with the original turn signals intact,has the original tires no dry rot at all,has the original key.Brakes still work well,speedometer works,horn works,rear brake light is on,right side turn signals light up but do not flash,left side does not light up,headlight does not light up. There looks to be a small tear in the seat but it does not lift up.Frame,wheels,fenders have some surface rust.There is no tool kit or manual.

All parts that needed replacing have been replaced or refurbished, including a new muffler, tires, brakes, shocks, etc. The engine has been replaced with a new Lifan 125 for more power, along with a Mikuni VM22 carburetor for increased reliability. The frame and wheels were powder coated, and the optional luggage rack has been re-chromed. The bike currently has dual registration for on and off road. I held on to this Honda 90 for over six months for a friend that wanted to but it to go with his 70 that is the same color. I didn't do anything to it other than detail it. he wanted it exactly the way it was. He was going to do the rest of teh things it needed to save some money. I really can't afford to just let it sit in my garage any longer waiting for him to buy it. This is a clean bike but the lady I bought it from said it needs a maginto? The cover is missing on the left hand side case. The foot pegs "rubber" are loose and bots need to be tightened, brake pedal is bent and the key was missing when the bike came to me. All these parts cam be ordered for about $100.00 on ebay. He offered me $1100.00 I am going to put it up for 900.00 because I need it gone. The bike has an Idaho title but is non op at this time. This is a good bike to restore because it has good chrome and good paint. thank you

Colin Edwards has announced he will retire at the conclusion of the 2014 MotoGP season. The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.

American Honda Played A Big Role In Bringing Nicky Hayden Back To Team Red

By retaining Hayden’s services to ride the Honda RCV1000R in the MotoGP World Championship series for the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, American Honda is also now a proud sponsor of the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team. His first MotoGP season (2003) saw Hayden finish fifth in the championship on the Repsol Honda RC211V and win Rookie of the Year honors.

2014 Mugen Shinden San Revealed

Mugen have released these pictures of the 2014 Shinden San (three), the electric racebike Honda’s performance subsidiary is hoping will take victory at this year’s Isle of Man TT Zero event. The past two years the Mugen motorcycles have come second to the radical E1pc Motoczysz machines piloted by Michael Rutter. Details are relatively basic at the moment, but underneath the bodywork, Mugen says the latest Shinden sees lithium-ion battery mated to an oil-cooled three-phase brushless motor producing 134 hp and a whopping 162 ft.-lbs.

VTR-Powered Honda Lawnmower Sets Guinness World Record + Video

A lawnmower powered by the engine from a Honda VTR1000F Superhawk has set a new Guinness record for the world’s fastest mower. Honda UK revealed its 996cc V-Twin-powered Mean Mower last summer, claiming it had been tested at a speed of 100 mph but could reach a theoretical top speed of 133 mph. Those claims were put to the test in March at the IDIADA Proving Ground in Tarragona, Spain, with an official Guinness World Records adjudicator on hand to observe.

This just in from the Pata Honda World Superbike team: The Pata Honda team has announced the introduction of a nepotistic youth policy designed to enhance development and ensure continuity of its world championship racing program. On tomorrow’s third and final day of the World Superbike championship test currently taking place at Jerez in Spain, regular riders Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea will hand over their Honda CBR1000RR SP racing machines to their respective young sons. Despite being less than a year old, Max Haslam and Jake Rea are deemed to have inherited sufficient quantities of the so-called ‘speed gene’ to warrant a full test on the sophisticated production race bikes.
