Honda CT tech info
Honda CT description
Up for your consideration is my latest build, a 1970 K0 Candy Ruby Red Trail 70 that has been restored correctly and has a clear CA title. Frame: CT70-2236649 Engine: CT70E-236316 The bike was painted by Mike Hogan of Vintage Honda Painting in Long Beach, CA. It is a perfect and Honda-Correct Candy Ruby Red paint job. The engine was built by Darrel Gunderson of Gunderson Restorations in Las Vegas, NV. Darrel is the premier Honda minitrail engine builder on the West Coast and Mike is the man for correct and perfect candy paint jobs. That means this bike has a new engine and perfect paint. It is really a new motorcycle. Everything has been refinished and rebuilt correctly. I had all the black parts powder coated, rebuilt the carburetor, had all the hardware re-zinc’d or used new Honda hardware, rebuilt the wheels, hubs, brakes, front suspension, wiring harness is new...you get the idea. It has been test-ridden. It runs great, It shifts perfectly, all the lights work of course, the clutch and brakes have been adjusted and it’s ready to go. This is a correct restore for a 1970 Honda K0. The colors, engine, exhaust, fasteners, etc. are all factory K0 correct. It is all Honda parts with the exception of a few items that are nice to have reproduction. The seat, handlebars, and rear shocks are CHP. The only part I did not take a part and refinish internally is the speedometer. In order to re-set them to zero you have to pry open the stainless trim ring and even though the gasket that seals the speedo to the headlight bucket covers that once installed, it’s impossible to put it back exactly as it was. This speedo is very nice and the overlay colors are very good. I prefer to leave them original when they are this nice. I’m keeping my reserve as reasonable as possible. Please understand there is a lot invested in this bike. Included with the bike is the is a one gallon ziplock bag of all the Honda parts-bags used to build the bike. I will send this to the winner with the title.
Please reply with any questions and I will contact you as soon as possible. I can share a link to a Google Photo Album with more pictures I took during the assembly. Thanks for your interest! -Rusty |

NR750 owners should require approval
Mon, 14 Jun 2010Words can't express the absolute disbelief of this strangely attired guy trying to ride one of the rarest motorcycles every to grace tarmac. But this clip descends in to absurdity when the rider fumbles setting off on the Honda NR750 and drops the oval-pistoned beauty on its side. Did he stall it or is there a disc lock hidden within the pixilated video?
Honda NC700S and NC700X Coming to Canada – US Availability Still Uncertain
Wed, 23 Nov 2011American Honda has not included the recently revealed NC700S and NC700X models in its 2012 list of offerings, but it looks like the two motorcycles will be available in Canada. Honda Canada has not made an official announcement but a dealership in Kelowna, B.C., has published a press release that appears to have come directly from Honda Canada saying the two models will be available in Canada in the summer of 2012. (EDIT: Honda Canada has confirmed the NC700 models will be at the Toronto Motorcycle Show Dec.
San Francisco Motor Cops Can Chase You Up Stairs + Video
Thu, 13 Mar 2014Let’s get one thing out of the way: trying to evade the police is dumb. One way or another you’re going to lose. And if you’re thinking of evading a San Francisco motor cop, or a law enforcement officer trained by them, by heading off the beaten path or up a flight of stairs, think again.
