Honda CT description

I am offering this fully restored 1977 Honda CT125. 1977 was the only year this model was imported into the U.S. It is completely stock, with its unique features, such as a fully enclosed drive chain, brush guards everywhere, and oversize mud flaps. All parts are in solid shape, including the muffler. It functions as it should, including all lights and engine functions. The engine is adapted from the TL125 trials bike, with a wide ratio gearbox and a super-low 1st & 2nd gear. The only components I did not rebuild were the wheels, which were quite good. The paint is Shiny Orange, with the plastic fenders painted to achieve the same shiny finish. I built this bike to be a display piece, and so there is no pink slip or registration. I did, however, confirm that the bike is out of the CA DMV system, a plus for CA residents. The speedo shows something like 18 miles, as I rebuilt it and zeroed the odometer. I am a former Honda shop mechanic, with 50 year's wrenching experience, so there are no disappointments here.
I can recommend a shipper, or perhaps meet you halfway if you are in CA, for the cost of fuel and food. Thanks for looking.

McGuinness' Guinness 'Blade at Lancaster Honda

Tue, 10 Aug 2010

That picture is of John McGuinness' actual 'Guinness Rep' Fireblade. The bike is on show at Lancaster Honda. The 15 times TT winner has been (quite rightly!) given this 'Blade by Honda, but you can order one for yourself.

Schwantz School, the ultimate track experience?

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

If having one-to-one instruction from an ex-MotoGP World Champion is your dream, then why not put the Schwantz School on your Christmas list for 2012. Ok, it’s in America and slightly more expensive than your average track day ($2750 for two days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) but many satisfied customers will argue this is the best rider training experience in the world. Your hard earned Dollar will see you alternate between the classroom and track from 8am until 4pm, then Kevin will take you on a track tour where he explains riding techniques and answers questions (he even drives the bus).

Crossover Honda CRF450R again upgraded

Wed, 24 May 2017

The first update is related to the kickstarter, or rather, its absence: now the “single-barrel” in the basic version is started by an electric starter with a very light Li-ion battery. The second difference of the newly rejuvenated CRF450R is the suspension with changed settings - obviously, it steers more fun and perky than before.
