Honda CB description

1977 Honda CB750A- Hondamatic 750.  And if you aren't familiar with these it is an automatic.   Very clean example of this unique model. I have owned this bike for about 3 years from original owner. Runs and drives great. Overall appearance is very nice with the exception of a bubble and couple of small dings on fuel tank.  Painted fenders, pinstriping and custom seat cover from original owner.  Very sharp looking bike. Comfortable and interesting to drive with no clutch. Originally purchased because of a left hand injury I've become very fond of the bike. However I currently have five bikes and since I can use a clutch again It doesn't get driven much.  Only 7470 original miles. Recent battery and new front tire, carbs gone through by Honda mechanic and runs well. I have a rare trans cover gasket and a spare set of headlight ears to go with the bike.  These are becoming more rare and collectible but I would like to sell to fund other projects. Please email or call with questions. The bike is available for local viewing and pick up.  No shipping unless you're paying for crating and trucking arrangements.   Thanks again for looking!   Please call with questions.   845  430  4106    Darren.

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.

Brothers Ben and Tom Birchall rebounded from a disappointing finish to the first Sure Sidecar race with a solid victory in their second race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The Birchall brothers had the early lead in the first race but were forced to retire on the first lap after puncturing a tire. Their second race went much better however, as they led from start to finish for their first ever win at the Isle of Man.
