Honda CB description

I have up for auction a 1974 Honda CB350f (four). The bike is in good condition but it is definetly a project. I bought it to fix it up and turn it into a cafe racer but I just dont have the time for it and I own another motorcycle so my interest level has just gone down. It has a new rectifier\regulator (2 of them - not installed), ignition coil (and 1 extra), turn signals, and a few other things. The bike is currently not starting but it will turn on - sounds like it might need another new ignition coil installed (there are 2 on this bike)? I have no desire to tinker with it so hopefully the highest bidder does. Everything does work - kick start, horn, lights, etc. This bike could be a really cool cafe racer or bobber for someone who has the time to work on it.

New clutch - also have another rebuilt clutch basket on hand if you want it
Clubman handle bars (not currently installed on the bike)
regulator/rectifier (2 new ones) - also have the old ones on hand if you would like them.
new ignition coil and 1 more (needs to be rewired to be installed)
new turn signals and a new turn signal relay (not installed)
New battery - purchased a few weeks ago
New front bearing

I know it needs...
  • new rear shocks
  • it does leak some oil
  • carbs could probably use a cleaning - I cleaned them at the begining of the summer
  • obviously - fix what ever it is that is causeing it not to turn on

The bike comes as is. Its a great bike and it really just needs some TLC. It has normal rusting for the age of the bike - can easily be blasted and repainted.

We’ve discussed the lifting of the rookie rule already, with the main impetus being to allow a manufacturer such as Honda to sign up-and-coming Moto2 star Marc Marquez when he is expected to move up to the premiere class next season. As of Jan.

“The Retriever” is Swedish for Tow Bike

Wed, 22 Oct 2008

The Honda GL1800 Goldwing may be a versatile vehicle, but a Sweden based company has developed theirs to be something much different; a recovery vehicle. According to their site, the process takes less than 90 seconds with a single operator using the handheld remote control. The bike can allegedly be driven like any other motorcycle when you are not towing a car behind you.
