Harley-Davidson Softail description

I am the original owner. Bought new in 2005. Bike has 42,200 mis. The engine, however, only has 13,700 on it due some internal mechanical failure that could not be fixed. So Harley Davidson replaced the motor under warranty. THERE IS NO WARRANTY ANY LONGER I have all documentation to prove this. The bike has had synthetic oil in it(engine, trans, and chain case) since after the 1st oil change at 1000mis. It has Python pipes and stage one high air flow kit. Plus the computer had been re-flashed to accommodate the pipes. All that work was also done by Harley Davidson. The bike has been well maintained, I'm not saying its flawless, after all it does have 42,200mis on it. I rode it any chance I could. NEVER DROPPED

Harley-Davidson Racers Visiting Troops In Middle East

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
