Selling my 1999 Harley Davidson Heritage Springer Softail FLSTS This bike is absolutely beautiful and has very classic, timeless styling. There are roughly 37000 miles on the bike, but you'd never be able to tell - it is extremely clean. This bike is everything that it should be and performs as it should. I had the bike detailed last month and it came out amazingly. The two tone blue and silver paint is very nice and complement each other very well. The chrome is in great shape and so is the leather. The engine starts right up and the bike shifts well. The clutch feels great and the tires and brakes are in great shape. The only issue I see is that the headlight rivets are a little lose and that it vibrates while riding down the road - could possibly be fixed with a small shim, or you can find a replacement pretty easily. I have a clean CT title in hand and the bike is currently registered and insured in my name. Please take a look at the pictures, they look great and still don't do the bike justice. I encourage anyone local to come see the bike so that you can really appreciate what it is. This was the last of the EVO powered bikes and many say that the 1997-1999 model years are the best example of the Heritage Springer line. Fri, 16 May 2014Airhawk, Inc., has introduced the DS Comfort Seating System, a cushion designed specifically for motorcyclists who ride dual sport bikes or bikes with narrower seats. Features of the DS cushion include a narrow front to match the seat profile of most dual sport/adventure bikes and bikes with narrow seats. A tapered-down front minimizes unwanted pressure on the scrotum, and a heavy-duty hold-down strap system ensures a secure fit to the bike. The DS also works well with narrow customized or aftermarket seats that have been installed for the purpose of getting the rider lower to the ground.
California Dealer to Produce Limited Edition Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, a dealership in Marina Del Rey, Calif., has signed a licensing deal to produce a run of limited edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy“. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Bartels will produce 100 units, each priced at about $25,000. The Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson models will go on sale in August when they are revealed at the Sturgis rally in South Dakota.
