1942 Harley Davidson WLA in Civilian Dress. Alot of Original parts on this bike. 45ci wla motor with aluminum heads and 3 spd transmission. Linkert m51 carb. Starts right up. Original Fenders and Tanks. Rear fender was cut and repaired by the battery box...look at pictures. Original frame and front end, wheels crash bar. Original footboards with the rivited rubber matts. Original center stand. Dash base is original but dash cover is repo. Other known repo parts are speedo, horn, headlight and taillight. The bike has been sitting for a couple years, i took it out the other day charged the battery and it started right up. It is missing the battery cover, chain guard and there is no tool box. the speedo does not appear to be hooked up either. This is a very nice bike and has the certain patina that you do not see too often anymore. REAL patina...not the fabricated kind. I do not have a title for this motorcycle, and I cannot get one due to the title laws in the State of Maine. I will provide a Registration and a Bill of Sale. Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.

Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.
2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
2015 Harley-Davidson CVO Lineup Revealed

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
