Up for sale is a 2012 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic E-Glide with only 4638 original miles. This Ultra Classic is mint and looks like it just left the showroom. It comes in one of its most desirable color combinations two tone ???Big Blue Pearl with Vivid Black???. There are no dings, dents or scratches whatsoever. The previous owner took very good care of the Harley and added some nice features like: Stage One Performance kit with ???Rinehart??? slip ons ($1492)Also the Rinehart racing pipes sound really good! The mechanical condition of this bike is flawless. The 103 cubic inch engine runs strong without any issues and pulls the tranny effortless through all its six gears. Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit
Thu, 09 Feb 2012The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“ exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
