You are looking at a 1992 Harley Davidson FXRS-SP with only 12,675 original miles and no that is not a misprint. I purchased this bike from Mikes Famous in New London, CT last year and have all of the documentation to prove it. As soon as I got the bike, I began to take it apart and build it back up the way it sits now. I may have put 50 miles on it since I recently finished it but that is probably a stretch. I have the original tach/ speedo to prove the mileage. I will try to list some parts I have added/ replaced but will probably miss a few things:
- custom paint by Time Warp - new rubber front and rear - new rotors and yes the front is a dual disc - black powder coated wheels - custom sprung Hagon shocks for a 210 pound rider - roland sands diamond stitch 2 up seat - Bassani road rage exhaust - lowbrow customs air cleaner - 6" black risers with dirt bike style handle bars - mx style grips - all handlebar buttons and wiring have been cleaned up/ eliminated - solenoid push button starter - custom black headlight with hi/ lo switch on rear of bucket I am sure I am missing stuff but these are the highlights. The bike is in awesome condition with not a single problem. It has to be one of the cleanest/ low mileage FXR's on the internet right now. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Models Recalled for Pinched Brake Lines
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 66,421 motorcycles because of a problem with the front brake lines getting pinched. The recall affects all ABS-equipped 2014 touring and CVO touring models including the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Street Glide, Road King, CVO Limited and CVO Road King. Police and Shrine edition models are also affected, as are the Twin-Cooled version of the Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the Road King Classic which are produced for other markets.
Aerosmith and Toby Keith to Join Kid Rock as Headliners of Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Celebrations
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith and country artist Toby Keith were introduced as headline performers along with the previously announced Kid Rock for Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebration. Each headline concert will be held at the Marcus Amphitheater at the south side of Henry Maier Festival Park (A.K.A. the Summerfest Grounds) in Harley-Davidson‘s hometown Milwaukee.
