FOR SALE 1978 Harley Davidson FLH Shovelhead. This is a 1 of a kind beauty!!! The bike has had a complete frame off restoration approx 5yrs ago. Every nut and bolt was replaced using the best OEM new old stock that was available at the time. The frame was powder coated gloss black. The tins are painted a 1985 Porsche 944 RED. The tank has Harley Davidson hand painted on it not decals. The bike has a new Barnett clutch just installed. The bike runs and rides good. It has current inspection and registration in Texas. 2300 mis since restoration. The engine was also rebuilt using 80 c.i. jugs,making it 1340c.c. I have the factory original 74c.i.jugs that came with the bike. That makes this a true 2A titled bike. I am asking $10,000.00 cash O.B.O. for the bike. Harley-Davidson Confirms Project Livewire Will Appear In Avengers Movie

From the “Unless-You’ve-Been-Living-Under-A-Rock” department comes Harley-Davidson’s announcement today at the San Diego Comic-Con, that H-D’s first electric motorcycle, the Livewire, will indeed be used in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie as the ride of choice for Natasha Romanoff (a.k.a. Black Widow) played by Scarlett Johansson, in an epic scene with Captain America in the film. Of course, if you’ve been following Motorcycle.com for a while you’ll have known this already, as we brought you the scoop about Livewire.

In an article recently published by Consumer Reports, some tips are provided for women looking to enter the sport for the first time. The first bit of advice is to “Sit on a lot of different bikes first,” says Angela Annamalai of Shelby’s Powersports in Bronx, New York.
