Harley-Davidson Dyna description

1995 Dyna Wide Glide been my personal bike for over 7 years.  I have owned a shop for last 2 1/2 years and the economy is forcing us to close.  I just got it built and it rides great, super fast, I hate to sell it but bills force it..  Motor just got built by Harley Certified Master Tech.  Case split, replaced both crank and case bearings, checked crank for true approximately 3.5 thousandths run out. New: case bolts, 10:1 Keith Black +.10 Pistions, S&S Adj push rods, S&S HVHP Oil Pump, USA Hylift Johnson Performance Lifters, S&S 600 Cam & Timken Bearing, Kibblewhite 630 Beehive Valve & Spring Kit, Ported & Polished, Bench Flowed, Compression Releases, 7 angle Valve grind, Head machining by Racing Innovations Sam Wells, Ultima Roller Rockers, Ultima Single Fire Ignition Kit, New 32smp Charging Kit (Stator & Regulator), Innerstate Battery, Carlini 16" Flying Apes, Mukuni 45HSR Carberuator, Arlen Ness Big Sucker II, Vance & Hines Big Radius Exhaust, HID Headlight, New 1.4kw Starter, Oil Pressure Gauge. New Tires, Ostrich Seat, Twisted Spokes, Ford Harley Davidson Edition Red Paint with Pinstripping.  65000mi on odometer, 7-800mi on rebuild, still unmolested, barley broke in, but pulls strong and rides very well.  Very light on its feet and easy to handle with a ton of power and torque.   This bike has been riden and is not in mint condition.  There is one small dent in left side of the tank that didn't hurt the paint or clear so it takes the right angle to see.  Drops a few drips after a ride from inner primary/transmission seal. Replaced all wheel bearings, neck bearings, swingarm bearings, fork seals and fluid 2 years ago, so rolls and rides smooth.  Everything else is in new or good working condition. Oil cooler, Performance Machine mirrors, low profile easily removable saddlebags.

Twin-engine pulsejet motorcycle. As you do..

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
