For sale is a 2011 Spyder RT-S SE5 touring motorcycle. These motorcycles are a blast to ride and very safe with the two wheels up front and Can Am's built in safety features. This is my personal bike and it has been very well taken care of.

The bike is in excellent condition with only 3,200 miles. It includes all the bells and whistles including semi-automatic transmission, heated driver and passenger grips, stereo, trunk organizer, and all the other standard features on the RT-S model.  It also includes several add-on extras including NBV driver footpegs, Spyder Attitude exhaust, Utopia driver's backrest, Inspector Gadget driver footboards, chrome wind deflectors, and a full cover. If someone purchases with Buy it Now I will include the 3 year B.E.S.T Can Am Warranty ($925 value) good through 11/16. There are no dings or scratches and it has never been in an accident. Always stored inside. All scheduled maintenance has been done.

Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.  Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, but I will do all I can to assist with pick-up. Feel free to ask any questions.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
