1980 BMW R65 600cc Out of a 50 bike collection. Owned by Marshall Binkley (exRacer Collectors) Estate. Only BMW in the collection. The real deal, raced and campaigned by Binkley in the early 80's. This came out of his estate collection many ears ago. Has good compression, super low miles (~15000), would take very little to get running. A true privateer track racer for the early 80's. 2014 BMW C evolution Electric Scooter Revealed
Tue, 10 Sep 2013BMW has expanded its maxi-scooter lineup with a new electric-powered model. Officially revealed after a year of testing at various events in Europe such as the 2012 London Olympics, the BMW C evolution is now ready for production, joining the gas-powered C650GT and C600 Sport. The C evolution is powered by a liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor claiming an European Union-rated 15 hp, though if you really strain the motor peak output can reach 47 hp.
How to destroy a GoPro
Wed, 14 Mar 2012That scraping sound you can hear is a mixture of a knee slider and the GoPro camera housing grazing the tarmac at Mugello. The footage was shot on-board the BMW Motorrad France Team Thevent machine ridden by Hugo Marchand, in testing ahead of the 2012 Endurance World Championship. He managed to wreck the housing that holds the GoPro camera after only three laps.
Husqvarna Reveals BMW G650GS-Engined Concept Strada
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Husqvarna unveiled a new streetbike model powered by the engine from parent company BMW’s G650GS. The Husqvarna Concept Strada was int4roduced in Paris at the Salon de la Moto show. Though Husqvarna is calling the supermoto-styled Strada a concept, but the new model is near production ready, with Husqvarna expecting to begin sales in 2012, possibly as a 2013 model.
