1966 BMW R50 IN ORIGINAL CONDITION, CLEAR TITLE, AQUIRED FROM ORIGINAL OWNER AND HAS BEEN SITTING NON RUNNING GETTING DUSTY FOR MANY YEARS AT LEAST 25-30 YEARS. MOTOR TURNS OVER WITH COMPRESSION, BIKE IS VERY ORIGINAL AND NOT MISSING PARTS, IT IS A TIME CAPSULE. LOOKS GOOD WITH PATINA. GAS TANK VERY CLEAN INSIDE, SHIFTS INTO GEAR WHEN DONE BY HAND, BIKE WILL NEED SOME REFURBISHING TO RUN AGAIN BUT IS AN EXCELLENT PIECE TO WORK WITH AND A COOL COLOR SCHEME FOR A BMW. HAS ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUALS, AND HAS VINTAGE BUCO HARD SADDLEBAGS, IT DOES HAVE SOME RUST BUILT UP IN AREAS, BUT NOTHING TOO BAD AND NO ROTTING THROUGH THE PIPES, VERY SOLID BIKE, IS MISSING A KEY, THE LEFT SIDE CARBURETOR SLIDE IS SIEZED IN THE CARB WILL NEED PROPER CLEANING AND SOAKING TO REMOVE, HAS BEEN SITTING ONE SMALL DING IN TOP LEFT OF GAS TANK, SOME SMALL TEARS IN THE SEAT OTHER THAN BEING COVERED IN SOME DUST/GRIME IT IS A VERY WORTHY CANDIDATE OF RESTORATION OR RUNNING AS IS WITH ORIGINAL LOOK. Puig launch new screen for S1000RR

SPANISH motorcycle accessory expert Puig has launched a new high-performance screen for the BMW S1000RR superbike.The new dome Z-Racing is made from acrylic 3mm plastic, offering good flexibility and high resistance to impacts and scratches, says Puig.The Z-Racing has been tested in a wind tunnel and now gives a claimed 12 per cent aerodynamic improvement over the original screen.The Z-Racing does not require any modification for installation and can be fitted using the original screws.The screen's priced at 68.3 euros (£61) excluding shipping and import duty.You can find more information by visiting Puig.tv

EICMA 2012: BMW Motorrad Celebrates 90th Anniversary with Special Edition R1200GS, R1200R and R1200RT

BMW announced it will introduce an all-new Boxer to celebrate its 90th year of motorcycle production, but you didn’t think the German manufacturer would stop there without a couple of other special edition models, did you? To mark the anniversary, BMW revealed special edition “90 Jahre BMW Motorrad” versions of its R1200GS adventure bike, R1200R roadster and R1200RT tourer in Milan at the 2012 EICMA Show. All three models come in a Sapphire Black Metallic color with matte black engines, gold anodized suspension and brakes, and asphalt gray metallic swingarms, trailing arms and rear frames, and granite gray metallic cylinder head covers, and a nickel-plated polished brass plate on the upper fork.

The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.
