Up for auction is my 1989 FZR400, with a clean Ohio title. Bike is in really good shape and everything on the bike works as it should. I have owned it for about a year and realize it is not the kind of bike for my old back anymore! Here is what I have done to the bike while I have had it. Two brand new tires, new air filter, new spark plugs, radiator flushed and replaced with Yamaha anti-freeze, fresh oil and filter, new brake pads and brakes flushed and cleaned, new grips, D&D muffler, I do not have the original. There was an old ugly Supertrapp on it when I got it. The nose cowling is a fiberglass replacement, it has been painted along with the mirrors and stickered to match the rest of the bike. The previous owned ran it into a table saw, no damage underneath just the fairing. I do have the original front turn signals, and an extra lower fairing, I think it is the right side. Bike runs well and likes to rev, it is a fun bike to ride. It just sits in my garage so time for it to move on. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs. Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
