I have a beautiful 2011 copper on black Yamaha FZ6R that is like new for sale. It has approx 9k miles. It has approx 2k in aftermarket upgrades including a light system that illuminates the undercarriage and wheels (various colors), M4 exhaust, and aftermarket windshield. The tires are in very good condition. The bike is absolutely flawless. The title is clean and in hand.  Bike is sold as is with no warranty.  Please serious buyers only. Note that the only reason I'm selling is due to the heavy traffic congestion in Atlanta.  I feel that it is really just to dangerous for me to drive in the city.  Please contact me if you are thinking/going to buy.  Please have your money together before you contacting me. The economic downturn hit the motorcycle world particularly hard, as many factory-backed road racing efforts closed shop. The decision, while unfortunate, isn’t hard to understand, as racing at the highest levels isn’t cheap, and a factory involvement means added pressure to succeed, which ultimately means spending more money to do so. Through it all, however, Yamaha has remained involved with the sport, fielding factory teams and sponsoring various riding schools and even racetracks.

The new three-event GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented by Yamaha is gaining steam as Dynojet Research has stepped up to provide sponsorship for the Pro Sportbike class. Dynojet will also have its popular dyno performance truck on-site for race support. Devised to fill an 11-week gap in professional road racing between mid-March and late May, the Superbike Shootout was inspired by the successful British Superbike Championship series.
