2004 Victory Kingpin Motorcycle (2004)
The condition of the bike is very good. I've always had it garaged and it's never been laid down. It's a powerful bike that can carry you effortlessly on the freeways or cruise through even the busiest of downtown streets. It certainly would NOT make a good beginners bike due to the power of the 1500cc engine as well as the overall weight on the bike (approx. 600 lbs). This is a ride for established riders only. My first bike was a Suzuki 500 which I rode for 3 yrs before unloading it to go with something bigger. At 1st I was looking at bikes within the 1100 cc range never giving thought to a 1500 cc bike, but I am glad I was open minded. It was surprisingly easy to ride, control. I bought the bike last summer, 2012, from its original owner. He was selling it due to the fact that he had recently picked up a new Victory model and had no need for a 2nd ride. I spotted this out front his house, circled around, spoke with him, rode it and came back the following day to buy it. Depending on the location of the end buyer, I'd prefer to do a person to person transfer of the money with bike. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.
2014-2015 Victory Models Recalled for Risk of Engine Seizure
Fri, 02 May 2014Polaris Industries announced a recall on several 2014 Victory models and the 2015 Gunner because of a manufacturing error that may cause an engine to seize. The recall campaign affects 872 units in the U.S. In addition to the 2015 Victory Gunner, the recall affects the Boardwalk, Cross Country, Cross Country 8-Ball, Hammer 8-Ball, Jackpot, Judge, Ness Cross Country, Vegas 8-Ball and Vision from the 2014 model year.

Expansion Forces Polaris Industries to Cancel 2014 American Victory Rally

This year, unfortunately, Polaris has realized that its American Victory Rally will not be able to take place at the company’s Spirit Lake, Iowa facility because of “extensive transformation of manufacturing lines.” “All of us at Victory are disappointed that we are unable to host the rally this year as we know our riders are passionate about their bikes and the opportunity to connect with each other, the Spirit Lake community and Victory employees at the annual rally,” said Marcy Bosch, committee chair, American Victory Rally. “We will be transforming our manufacturing lines this summer to keep up with the demands fueled by the continued enthusiasm for Victory bikes and our other products, which means we won’t be able to free up the facilities and dedicate the resources necessary to support a quality rally.
Polaris Reports Q1 2014 Sales Results
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Polaris Industries reported a 52% increase in motorcycle revenues over the first quarter of 2014, thanks in large part to the addition of Indian Motorcycles. Motorcycle sales generated $78.9 million in sales revenue for Polaris, compared to $51.8 million in the same quarter last year. The key thing to remember however, is Indian Motorcycles wasn’t relaunched until late summer, so last year’s first quarter sales were made up almost entirely of Victory Motorcycles.
Round 1 Of GEICO Superbike Shootout Is This Weekend

The event is the first of a three-race series that will crown overall champions in two individual race classes: Pro Superbike and Dynojet Pro Sportbike. The Superbike Shootout is a three-race series meant to fill the long void in the AMA Pro Roadracing schedule between round one at Daytona and the second round at Road America.
Polaris Registers Design for Liquid-Cooled Victory
Mon, 21 Apr 2014Polaris Industries has registered a design patent with the European Union for what appears to be a new liquid-cooled Victory motorcycle. The design sketches, registered and published through the EU’s Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), reveal a single-seat cruiser with a liquid-cooled V-Twin engine. The overall aesthetic is very much a Victory, with stacked twin slash-cut exhausts and bobbed fenders similar to the Vegas 8-Ball.
Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season

The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.
