The black beauty has only 5,500 miles and has been kept in an air conditioned room since new. The bike has almost $9,000 in upgrades; extra tall windshield with wind deflectors, chrome disc brake covers, driving lights, risers on the handlebars, chrome radiator cover, crash bars, highway pegs, chrome master brake cylinder covers, leather tank bib with pouch, rear crash bar, leather saddle bags (not vinyl), driver tilt backrest, passenger backrest, custom controls, luggage rack, computer was remapped for pipes, chrome chain cover, chrome brake reservoir cover, aluminum rims and more. Speed Triple gets mean
Fri, 29 Oct 2010I headed up the M1 this week to the Triumph Factory in Hinckley. The Speed Triple was due its 12000 mile major service and the workshop also had some new shiny bits to add to the bike for me. Service intervals are every 6000 miles which is more than bearable but the major service will cost you around £450.
