Triumph Other description

Up for sale, a brand new Triumph America with only 28 miles. I purchased this motorcycle and paid the sales tax and transferred the registration from the manufacturer's statement of origin into my name. My situation has changed and I have decided to sell the motorcycle even though it has 28 miles on it. These motorcycles new, including the sales tax, are close to $10,000. I'm sure that I will take some loss, but, my loss is your gain. There is not any dirt, any scratches, any nicks, or any imperfections on this motorcycle. It is brand new and had 27 miles on it, probably from the factory, when I picked it up. The motorcycle comes with the full Triumph warranty, the owner's manual, the spare keys, and the zippered Triumph pouch that came with the motorcycle the day I got it. The title is in my name and clear, ready to sign to the new buyer. If you are the winning bidder, I may be willing to deliver it to your front door at a very reasonable price. If you have any questions, email me through ebay or call me at four79-four62-sixfivefivefive. James

MPG or BHP?

Thu, 05 Jan 2012

If you were a child of the seventies, you may remember Craig Vetter’s name from his previous work as a stylist (Triumph Hurricane) or his huge fairing business, Vetter Fairings.  Since then, the 69 year-old industrial designer has become obsessed by fuel consumption - or rather highlighting how poor motorcycles are delivering impressive figures. He originally ran a series of fuel challenges in the eighties and now the economy has taken a nose dive, he has resurrected the competition, figuring that the time is now right to highlight these issues again. According to Vetter, three of every four American gallons of petrol is imported – reason enough to devote his time to raising awareness.

2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple Transmission Recall Now Includes US

Fri, 31 May 2013

As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple because the transmission may have been built with the wrong detent arm spring. A similar recall was announced for Canada earlier this month, so we knew it was a matter of time before the recall was announced for the U.S. market.

Craig Vetter To Headline AMA Hall Of Fame Breakfast At Daytona, March 14

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

AMA Hall of Fame member Craig Vetter will be the featured guest at its annual AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona, on Friday, March 14, at 7:00 a.m., at the Daytona 500 Club on the infield at Daytona International Speedway.  “Craig Vetter’s impact is far-reaching, starting with the design of the iconic Windjammer fairings of the 1970s, continuing with motorcycle designs like the Triumph X-75 Hurricane and the limited-edition ‘Mystery Ship,’ and enduring more recently with a resurrected series of motorcycle fuel economy runs that push the boundaries of everyday streamlining,” said Jeff Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the Hall of Fame. “We’re proud to host motorcycling’s design professor emeritus for this year’s Breakfast at Daytona.” Taking place during 2014 Daytona Bike Week, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona fundraiser will feature a live interview with Vetter on stage, an audience Q&A period and an autograph session with Vetter and other Hall of Famers in attendance. The event is open to the public, and tickets are available now at www.motorcyclemuseum.org.
