Suzuki TC250 X6 Scrambler (1967)
This TC250 has been restored to like new condition. 1000s of $s and hours were invested in the restoration of this show winner. This bike is the first model to have a 6 speed gear box. Fresh paint, tank has no rust, tank chrome in great shape, rebuilt OEM petcock, NOS badges, new seat cover and foam, NOS grips, NOS cables, NOS chrome rims, spokes and nipples, new tires and tubes, new brakes front and rear, forks have been rebuilt, new rear shocks, complete engine rebuild including pistons, rings, seals, clutch plates, carbs ultrasonically cleaned with NOS floats and full rebuild kits, new points and condensers, pipes are in great shape, etc. Too many items to list in this restoration. This is the bike that eluded me in my teens. Tue, 29 Jan 2019Suzuki has adopted the SR-VVT (Suzuki Racing Variable Valve Timing) system on the 2017 GSX-R1000. A centrifugal drive system is integrated into the intake gear and adjacent guide plate. It features 12 steel balls and slant grooves to rotate and synchronize the intake valve at a predetermined RPM for increased power at high RPMs.

Back in the day, the Japanese manufacturer relied on the European design studio Target Design to get an innovative motorcycle. Hans Muth, the ex-BMW designer at the time, presented two concepts: a 650cc prototype and a 1100cc version that ended up on the assembly line.
