Hi you read it right this 1990 Katana has 950 miles on it. The Man I bought it from was the original owner he took it to bike week in Florida had a close call with it and then he parked it in his garage for the last 23 years. All the mileage you see on it is from that first year on the road the rubber parts are all good on the bike nothing is dry rotted the tires hold air and I have driven it with them but they wont pass inspection. All signals work, gas gauge, brakes, lights, rev counter and speedometer. When I bought it I did the following cleaned carbs, new battery, new brake fluid, oil and filter and new plugs It fired right up burned all the old oil off and runs like a new bike if you think about it the break in isn't even done yet. There are some cosmetic problems the seat has a chunk out of the back, the left side plastic rear has a rub mark and the tank has scratches where someone put one of those tank covers on it. But all in all it's a great bike with the lowest miles you will ever see again. If you wanted to have a unmolested Katana that nothing has been done to it in 23 years this is the one and only. First Laps of the 2015 Suzuki MotoGP Racer
Tue, 18 Jun 2013Suzuki put its new prototype race bike through its first test laps alongside other MotoGP racers in preparation for its impending return to racing in the 2015 season. Test rider Nobuatsu Aoki, who had been playing a key role in the racebike’s development, took the new Suzuki 1000cc Inline-Four prototype out for a few shakedown laps before handing things over to Randy de Puniet who completed the bulk of the testing at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. After a day of testing, de Puniet put up the eighth-best lap time, clocking in at 1:42.676, just 0.772 seconds behind Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo who had the top lap time among all participants. It’s important to note however that Repsol Honda and series leader Dani Pedrosa did not participate in this test.

After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.
Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend
Wed, 08 May 2013American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.
