Moto Guzzi California III description
Burgundy and cream in color. Approximately 22,000 miles. New tires,
battery, starter, headlight, fuel lines. Recent service at Vespa St. Louis included: carb service and cleaning; change of engine oil and filter, gearbox oil, and final drive oil; valve clearance and engine idle adjustments; and electrical fixes (with new ignition switch and relays). Recent service and parts total almost $700. Runs great - everything works except for the odometer (speedometer and trip mileage meter both work).
Has not been licensed since
2005. A few small paint flaws (see front fender
picture).

2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
Piaggio Reports First Half 2011 Results
Wed, 27 Jul 2011The Piaggio Group reported slight increases in net sales and net profit over the first six months of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010. Net sales increased 1.1% to 830 million euros (US$1.19 billion) over the first six months of 2011, compared to 820 million euros (US$1.18 billion) in the first half of 2010. Piaggio reported a net profit of 33.3 million euros (US$47.9 million), a slight increase from the net profit of 33.1 million euros (US$47.6 million) reported last year.
