Up for bid is a very nice 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14 with ABS. After a 20-year production run of the original ZG1000 Concours, Kawasaki introduced the ZG1400 as a 2008 model, and this new iteration represented a significant update in terms of power, handling and braking. There are numerous reviews and road tests of the Concours on the Internet, and I won’t attempt to detail this bike’s capabilities or virtues in this listing. However, one resource I refer potential bidders to is the Concours Owners Group (COG) website. The forums of that site will provide a wealth of data regarding this model, and also detailed product evaluations of the accessories I have added. This particular bike has been nicely and expensively upgraded for touring with a Sargent World Sport seat, Oxford Heaterz heated grips, National Cycle V-Stream aftermarket windscreen, Delkevic carbon-fiber silencer, Buell Ulysses footpegs (one inch lower than stock) and Advanced Sport Touring highway pegs. The stock seat, exhaust and footpegs will all be included with the sale. Current mileage is just under 21,000 miles, but may change as the bike is ridden during the course of the auction. The bike is in extremely good shape for its age, showing only minor wear from use. It has been well-maintained and is parked in a heated garage and connected to a smart charger when not being ridden. The only problem I am aware of is that both tire pressure monitors are inoperative, a common issue with these bikes. I bought this bike in Michigan when it was six months old, and have owned it ever since. It was to be for my wife, who simply wasn't interested. (!) No scratches, muffler set is perfect, Bike has small chip (hidden by seat, see pic) on rear tail, one pinhead-size paint chip on tank (see pic)otherwise near new. I have not painted, altered, modified anything except the side stand, bent slightly for a more secure footing. It is the perfect companion to a triple enthusiast's 500 and/or 750 Kawasaki Triple. 1976 KZ900, Less than 10,000 original miles. This KZ900 was pulled out of storage in Ocean Shores Washington.. In storage since 1983. Last registration was on July 27 1982. The mileage at that time was 5051. The original gauges were damaged and removed for restoration and replaced with 1980’s KZ1000 gauges. Mileage not verifiable but believed to be under 10,000 due to last registration and talking to last owner. It has 750 miles since total custom restoration. This is not a stock KZ900 but a custom made by myself at Silver Bullit Café Racers in Spokane Washington.
