This is a survivor of the 1970s two stroke street bike era that is hard to find in this condition. New parts everywhere. I have the service manuals and the riders manual, and spare gas cap keys. Up for sale, a very nice 1976 Kawasaki KH500 3 cylinder Mach III with a manufacture date of 1975. I have spent lots of time and money to make it run and look great, starts on first kick. All original. I had the tank and side covers professionally repainted with original colors with new decals. Seat has a new cover, new battery, new tires and tubes, shocks,grips, handlebars and levers, headlight bucket and rim,all cables and new chain, and air box intake rubber. Everything works as it should, lights, horn, stoplight, etc. No rust and the tank is very clean inside with new petcock, and new gas locking gas cap. Carbs rebuilt with new carb kits. New plug wires and plugs. Lots of new hardware, and comes with the parts manual, service manual, and riders manual. I have the title in my name. I have owned this bike for about 4 years, have rode it very little and I am now ready to pass it on to another collector. If you like old Kaws, this one is getting hard to find. 1978 KZ1000 and large cache of parts - tons of vintage parts! (1978)
1978 Kawasaki KZ1000, I have owned this bike since 1994, nearly 30 years. I have decided to sell because I don't ride it at all anymore and someone should enjoy this bike. It has sat unused for too long and needs to appreciated by a new owner. I have set a reserve that is very reasonable when considering all the extra parts you are getting. I had the bike tuned and running last summer, rode it 2X's and it has been sitting since. I tried to start bike yesterday, battery was dead, I tried kick starting it for about 15 minutes and gave up. I am done with messing with it. It will run with very little effort. I am selling a huge collection of parts with the bike as well. Everything goes as a package deal. Many original parts are included in sale. Bike comes with nearly all the parts to put it back to showroom stock if you choose to go that route except, handlebars, exhaust, and air cleaner. Bike is mainly stock with some bolt-ons: Vance and Hines exhaust, Dyna Ignition and coils, K&N Air filters, Braided Steel brake Lines, Corbin seat, etc. Engine internals are stock: only 19K miles on engine. I am positive of it. Bike is complete. It is painted with a very deep purple PPG custom color. looks black until you get it into sunlight, then you can see the candy color. Bike currently has spoked wheels on it, but comes with aluminum mag-style wheels. One of the rear wheels is from a Police KZ1000 and worth a few $$$'s. Included in the extra parts list: :KZ1000 Plaque, foot brake assembly, kick stand, center stand, turn signal assembly, original rear fender, shifter levers, brake levers, headlight housing, mirror, front fork stabilizer, ignition cover, rear shocks, extra fuel tank, side covers, 2 original style seats: one totally original flat seat/original stitching/perfect condition, another stepped original seat that was re-upholstered., 2 sissy bars, oil cooler, chrome bolt kits, 3 sprockets, chain guard, 3 mag style wheels- 1 front, 2 rear, Top-end of engine assy: cylinder bores, cylinder head, 6 carbs, cams, valves and springs, etc all fasteners, these have been taken apart in a "semi-organized" manner and bagged No damage to bores. kawasaki 1000 kz1000 E1 ST project bike texas title japan made bike 1979 shaft (1979)
1979 kz1000 E1 ST has 48667 on odometer , frame is KZT00E006122 , 1015cc motor is KZT00EE006171 , frame sticker says made in Japan CLEAR TEXAS TITLE Exhaust is original and both look pretty good there is some stains but see no rust outs on them, brakes front master cylinder does not work , rear master cylinder works front dual disc brakes and single rear disc brake motor does kick over with some compression I did not really mess with it much carbs the choke does move and slides move up and down with throttle gas tank has rust inside but think you could flush it with few bolts inside and it will clean up pretty good to just run a filter and not cream it. there is couple small dents no bigger then a dime as shown in pictures, emblem holes filled in left side cover is in good shape with seat lock cover in place, emblem holes filled in right side cover has crack at top front push pin mount could repair that area since it is corner it will repair well, emblem holes filled in electrical looks to need little attention keys ignition , seat fork lock , there is no keys to bike , ignition has been removed but I do have it.
