Beautiful, fast, light weight, runs excellent, low miles, custom exhaust, never down Special Edition Ninja ZX10R sport bike. If you know these bikes then you know the Kawasaki engineers re-designed this model in 2008 to make it lighter and faster and make the rider feel at one with the bike. So, I bought this one for me when I was on vacation in Florida and titled it into my name and then had it shipped up to my house here in SoCal at Lake Arrowhead. Then I rode it and found out I am too short for it! My feet are not flat on the ground at stops and that is making feel out of control on it. I thought it would go nicely with my Harley up here in the mountains but I just don't think I should keep it since I am not comfortable at stops. I have looked into RaceTech in Corona lowering the bike properly for me but it would cost me $1400 which I cannot spend right now. The bike has a clear Florida title in my name with no liens or issues but it is currently at my house in Southern California. So, I will sell this awesome ride (unfortunately for me). 2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Makes North American Debut in Canada
Wed, 11 Jan 2012As we’ve previously reported, the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 will not be imported to the U.S, but it will be available in North America in Canada as a 2012 model. Kawasaki Canada presented the Versys 1000 at its display at this past weekend’s North American International Motorcycle Supershow in Toronto, for the new “adventure sport” model’s debut on this side of the Atlantic. While he can’t speak for Kawasaki USA’s decision making, Bob Calwell, district manager for Kawasaki Canada, he does note that the Canadian company does have a history of making different product selections.

2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Ninja 650 and Versys Pegged for Recall
Wed, 07 Mar 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for certain 2012 Ninja 250R and Ninja 650 sportbikes as well as the Versys 650 due to a risk of the passenger footpegs falling off. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the circlips on the footpegs’ mounting pins may break under engine vibrations, potentially leading the footpegs to detach. This poses a potential danger to the passenger.
