KTM EXC description

2005 KTM 525 EXC , Extremely clean bike. Purchased in 02/06. Not ridden in last two years. Never crashed or ridden hard/raced. Did Tier 3 service with Thousand Oaks Power Sports in December and it hasn't been out since. It has a GPR steering stabilizer, a new battery and some other goodies but is basically stock. No engine mods, stock pipe and suspension. Never wrenched on at all. This bike has a Green Sticker. Its the best bike I have ever owned/ridden and I wouldn't sell it if I didn't need the $. Come and take a look and see for yourself how clean it is. Thanks for checking it out. 6612121135.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Unfortunately, spinal cord injuries occasionally happen when something goes tragically wrong on a motorcycle. Former 250cc Motocross World Champion Heinz Kinigadner and Red Bull have teamed up to create the Kini Red Bull Collection of high-end MX gear. Proceeds from each sale directly benefits the Wings For Life Foundation, whose mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injuries.

Day 5 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins Stage, Moves Into Overall Lead

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

Red Bull KTM factory rider and three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma won stage five today followed by his teammate Jordi Viladoms and KTM supported rider Kuba Przygonski allowing KTM to scoop the top three places. Today“s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.
