2003 KTM Exc 450, Completely rebuilt/serviced. Top end new, transmission completely gone through. Less than 100 miles since service. California street legal, registration current. Dual sport kit is stock KTM (steering stem key framed bike). European KTM dual sport control. New Tires. Fresh O-ring chain. Iron Man rear sprocket. Moose handguards, Enduro Engineering aluminum muffler guard. KTM SX racing muffler (USFS approved). Suspension done by ESP with shock bladder, set up for expert off-road riding (175lb rider). Power Now intake mainfold. JD jetting kit. Running lights, high beam/low beam, turn signals, front and rear brake light sensors, and horn all working. Original KTM electronic odometer with remote control unit on handlebars all working. 2200 miles on odometer, probably 4600 miles on bike. Less than 100 miles since overhaul. AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.
KTM 390 Duke Confirmed for US for 2014
Mon, 11 Feb 2013KTM has confirmed the 390 Duke will be brought to the American market for the 2014 model year, making it the first of the Austrian manufacturer’s small-displacement single-cylinder naked models to arrive in the U.S. This timeframe would put the 373cc Duke a year behind the 2013 launch date from a leaked Powerpoint presentation slide that said it would be available in the U.S. for the 2013 model year as a 350 model.
KTM Announces 2014 AMA Supercross
Tue, 03 Dec 2013KTM announced its 2014 AMA Supercross team, with reigning 250SX West Champion Ken Roczen joining Ryan Dungey on the 450 class team. The two will form a formidable one-two punch for the Red Bull KTM factory team as it hopes to unseat three-time champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki. “Next year’s competition is going to be tough with several young, fast and talented riders entering the 450 class,” says Dungey who has finished third for three straight seasons after winning the title in 2010.
