Honda CB description

This is a 1982 Honda CB 450-SC NightHawk in purely amazing condition!!!  To find a cleaner, better running machine you would have to travel back in time to 1982 and purchase it right off the showroom floor!! It is not perfect but it is REALLY, REALLY nice!!!!

This machine needs absolutely NOTHING. The almost new Avon tires will carry you securely down the gnarliest road! The engine starts with just the slightest touch of the starter button and runs excellently. It purrs like a kitten!!The shifting is spot on, clutch flawless. This bike is ready to jump on and ride. I would not hesitate to drive it clear across the country... if my butt could take it!! It is THAT reliable. There is a small bit of exceeding light rust on the head pipes and it can be seen in the photographs.

NOTE: It has a clean Ohio title, ORIGINAL tool kit AND the owners manual!!

I invite anyone interested to come check it out, hear it run and poke and prod!!It is located in Medina Ohio and will need to be picked up there. No shipping!! I will be happy to have someone assist you or your shipper in loading it. A $500.00 deposit via Pay Pal is required within 24 hours - NO EXCEPTIONS! Full payment is due within 5 days. You are welcome to pay the entire balance via Pay Pal if you wish.

Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Toronto Results

Mon, 26 Mar 2012

Ryan Villopoto moved one step closer to repeating as AMA Supercross Champion with his seventh win of the season at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. With his chief rivals not making the trip north of the border due to various injuries, Villopoto can clinch the 2012 championship as soon as next weekend’s race at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, if they continue to be out of action. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider has 271 points with five rounds remaining.

Honda Announces 400cc Version of 500-Series Engine

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Honda has revealed a new, smaller-displacement variation of the 470cc parallel-twin engine introduced on its new CBR500, CB500F and CB500X models. The new engine has a bore of 67mm, just like Honda‘s 500-series engine, but a stroke of 56.6mm instead of the longer 66.8mm. The result is an engine displacement of 399cc, which makes the new engine a better fit for markets such as Japan license restrictions are much stricter for engines larger than 400cc.
