Good running 1974 Honda CB750 with wear and tear normal for a 42 year old motorcycle. Paint is original with scratches and small dents. I believe that tank and side cover are from a 1972, but still nice. The tank inside has been cleaned and coated with POR15. Exhaust has a few holes, some are patched but still functional, and sounds good and strong. Just pushed this out of the garage for the first time in 10 or so years, last registered in New Jersey in 1981. I have no idea where the title is, as this bike was given to me by my brother with grand intentions of restoring it, but it never came to fruition. A real head-turner, like no other bike on the road. If you don’t want to be noticed and/or stopped for questions or pictures, this is not the bike for you! Took second place at the Rat’s Hole Custom Bike Show in Daytona in the Café Racer category (lost to a Harley “café racer” that cost 4 times the price of this!). Complete, frame-up restoration on an already-extremely-solid bike. Everything is new/rebuilt/custom…but still all Honda in the parts that matter (engine, transmission, etc.). Engine had less than 3,400 original miles on it (before build) and had absolutely nothing wrong with it. Now has about 3,400 + 10. Up for auction is a 1977 Honda cb750 . I took the bike in on a trade and don't know a whole lot about it. I have taken it on a couple local errands and bike performed extremely well for me. Strong motor on it. Good compression. Guy I got it from had not finished putting work into it. Needs speedometer cable attached, back brake work.. not sure what else. Mechanically nothing that I see. The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.

The Japanese proposed a warning system about the danger that lies in wait for the driver in the blind zone. Honda engineers have proposed equipping the motorcycle with cameras and radars that will detect dangerous proximity to another vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver through light indication or tactile feedback.
