Honda CB description

This is an all original California classic bike.  It is 35 years old but it looks like it is 2 years old. The bike comes with the original owners manual.  Ride it home, everything works and it rides perfectly. The bike has never been down and the original 4 - 1 pipe has no rust.  I have owned this bike for one year and the previous owner told me that he purchased the bike from the original owner who owns a Honda Motorcycle dealer in Southern California. This bike is perfect for a collector of early sportbikes or classic Honda's. I will arrange shipping anywhere at buyers expense when payment for bike has cleared.

Honda Tuner Mugen Motorsports to Enter 2012 TT Zero Electric Race at Isle of Man

Thu, 16 Feb 2012

Engine tuning company Mugen Motorsports announced it will compete in the TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Though not officially a Honda company,Mugen was founded by Hirotoshi Honda, son of Honda founder Soichiro Honda, and the company is best known for its work as an engine tuner and parts maker for Honda vehicles. The Mugen entry to the TT Zero represents possibly the closest connection so far between a traditional motorcycle OEM and the relatively new realm of electric motorcycle racing.

Jefferies' TT V&M R1 for sale

We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.

EICMA 2008: First Impressions

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

I have had a little walk around checking out the preparations for the show. I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
