Honda CB description

You'll be hard pressed to find another Honda twin in this mechanical shape. Bought in 2010 from the original owner's son - it had been sitting in pieces in a heated basement for most of its life, then reassembled, inspected and back on the road before I bought it with 1400 miles. It's been used as a well taken care of daily driver with mostly highway miles since. It runs perfectly, starts (kick or starter) and idles easily, revs freely and has no mechanical issues. Recent work (within 300 miles) includes oil change, carbs cleaned and reset, and PAMCO electronic ignition installed. Cosmetically, it has no dents (never dropped), minor pitting and no rust issues, but is not pristine, but a bit of polishing and fresh paint would bring it back to beautiful stock very quickly. The rear brake shoes should be replaced (I have a new set that come with the bike). This would make a great base for a cafe project, a restoration project, or another owner looking for a solid daily driver with classic styling. I am only selling because of an upcoming cross-country move. Bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to end auction at any time. Test rides require cash in hand and a clear M class license. Clean and clear PA title in my name.

No reserve - any and all questions will be answered promptly. Local pick up only.

WSBK 2013: Monza Race Report

Mon, 13 May 2013

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.

Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.

Rossi and Hayden Find Improvement but Disappointed with Results

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

The good news for Valentino Rossi is he managed to narrow the gap in lap times between his Ducati Desmosedici and Casey Stoner‘s Honda RC213V. The bad news is other riders improved more than he did. Rossi completed 57 laps and set a time of 2:01.550 on the third and final day of the second MotoGP test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.
