For Sale is a Custom 1956 KH Model Harley Sportster w/ a 900 Ironhead top end w/ Columbus Springer stock length front end
This is a NO RESERVE auction Bike runs/ drives very good. Has lots of new and aftermarket parts(as listed below) This is a classic example of the 56kh model being adapted to an early ironhead top end to make a stroked 64.50 cube 1057cc ironhead Original numbers matching 56kh bottom end and clean title. Motor is kick start only. 4-6 kick bike every time Hasnt been out this year yet since being put away for winter. NEW/ AFTERMARKET PARTS
Very nice example of a classic/ custom K model ironhead stroker setup. Isn't perfect, but close. does have a couple of small paint chips on the rear fender by the seat mount/ tanks and front fender. Carb could use some fine tuning w/ the adjustable main , but the bike DOES NOT backfire. Otherwise ready to ride/ customize as is. Engine doesnt smoke and has good compression w/ no oil blow bye on the rings does have a front sprocket cover oil leak when running, not major, but worth mentioning.rear upper jug mount is broken Bike has a clean/ clear Numbers matching Ohio title Buyer responsible for all shipping costs.Bike is located in Durand,MI zip 48429.Local pickup offered. For years, the M has been offering free factory tours of its operations in York, Pa., Kansas City, Mo., Tomahawk, Wis., and Menomonee Falls, Wis., facilities. In 2009, Harley-Davidson introduced a premium tour that takes guests into “employee-only” areas called the “Steel Toe Tour” at its Menomonee Falls location.
