The bike has a solo seat, drag pipes and drag bars on it. It does have a clear Ohio title but it is titled for a 1981 with 1965 in the comments for unknown reasons. It was like that when I bought it and the previous owner didn't know why. Mileage is unknown due to not having a speedometer. This cool old bike seems to be very solid and complete. This would make an awesome bobber chop or rat bike! I am selling due to lack of interest and pursuing other projects.I reserve the right to end auction early due to having it for sale locally. I will only ship it to the lower 48 states only. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping costs. I will assist the hauling company with the loading of the bike. Harley-Davidson Expands H-D1 Bike Builder Tool for All Non-CVO Models
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Harley-Davidson has expanded its online H-D1 Bike Builder customization tool to include more models from its current lineup. The H-D1 Bike Builder allows users to customize motorcycles with parts from Harley-Davidson‘s catalog. The tool was previously only available for Sportster 1200 models but Harley-Davidson has add all of its models except for the high-end Custom Vehicle Operations line.
Original Viva Knievel Harley Davidsons For Sale On Ebay
Fri, 09 Aug 2013For sale on Ebay right now are two original Harley-Davidson Sportsters ridden by legendary stuntman Evel Knievel in the film “Viva Knievel!“ Click here to see the Ebay listing, which ends on Monday, August 12. The first is the “Flying Eagle” Strato-Cycle, which is one of two used in the movie. The bike is complete with full documentation including original sales invoice from Harley-Davidson in 1977, which certified (with matching VIN numbers) and specifies that it was used in the Viva Knievel movie.
