Harley-Davidson Softail description

The condition of this bike is very good with only very slight cosmetic blemishes. All systems are in working order and the bike has had regular factory trained technician maintenance performed at recommended intervals. New front and rear tires with only 2,400 miles on them. 

The extras on this bike are:  Reinhart Racing exhaust, chrome forks, chrome hand controls, removable windshield, passing lamps, with "bullet" turn signals, passenger's removable back rest, removable saddlebags and trickle charger connection (all accessories except exhaust are OEM).

I am the original owner and purchased this bike in November of 2007.

Payment by cashier's check or verified wire transfer from buyer's financial institution and buyer must arrange for transportation.

Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary

Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
