1974 Harley Davidson FX Shovelhead
Purchased in 1996. Bike rebuilt in 2003. Engine rebuilt, now has 3,500 miles on it. Andrews C Grind Cam and S&S Carberator and Fatbob gas tanks installed. Also changed to 21 inch front wheel and a more modern rear brake was added.
Progressive rear shocks and progressive spring kit in the front forks. Chrome wheels with polished stainless steel spokes. Belt drive primary.
It is electric and kick start. Lots of chrome, all painted surfaces are custom powder coated.
Garage kept and well maintained.
This motorcycle has never been in an accident and title is in hand.

Harley-Davidson reported a profit of $134.0 million dollars over the third quarter of 2012. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory. On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.
