THE MAG WIRE WAS GROUNDED WHICH LED TO PUTTING IN STORAGE, NEW TIRES FRONT AND REAR, NEW PM REAR CALIPER,NEW S&S "E" CARB,NEW CHAIN THIS IS ONE "PURE" OLD SCHOOL BIKE WHICH YOU JUST DONT SEE THAT MUCH OF ANYMORE EVERY TIME I RIDE IT TURNS HEADS AND GETS THUMBS UP! BIKE NEEDS NOTHING KICK AND RIDE! THIS IS THE ONLY PICTURE I HAVE OF BIKE AT THE MOMENT I WILL POST A FEW MORE IN A DAY OR SO, THE BIKE IS BACK IN STORAGE |

Thu, 21 Jul 2011Harley-Davidson is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its V-Rod line with a few updates as well as a special edition model. First introduced in the 2002 model year, the V-Rod marked a new era for Harley-Davidson, with the V-Rod’s 1130cc 60-degree V-Twin Revolution engine, the Motor Company’s first production engine with liquid cooling and overhead camshafts. The 2012 Harley-Davidson V-Rod line is equipped with the latest generation 1250cc Revolution engine with dual overhead camshafts, four-valve cylinder heads and fuel injection.
Harley-Davidson and Marvel Comics Team Up Again for Iron Man 3
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson and Marvel Comics are teaming up once more for another cross-promotional promotion, this time in support of the upcoming film “Iron Man 3“. Harley-Davidson had previously worked with Marvel for last year’s “The Avengers” and before that, with 2011′s “Captain America: The First Avenger“. For the third installment of the Iron Man series starring Robert Downey Jr., Harley-Davidson and Marvel announced the “Iron Man 3 – Man & Machine” contest.
Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
