A beautiful 1982 Ducati 900 SuperSport for sale. Bike is in great running condition and is one of the best sounding bikes of all time. There are a few small paint defects as expected on a bike of this age and a small scratch on the left side of the tank. See pictures.
Upgrades include Conti exhaust, Koni Shocks & 40mm carbs. Blue tank stripes were removed but can be bought to replace if needed. the original engine wire seal is still intact so engine has never been split. Fri, 24 Aug 2012At Brno today Valentino Rossi had a positive session in free practice, finishing closer and within half a second of the fastest time set by Dani Pedrosa. With a best of 1:57.315 and only .457 off Pedrosa's 1:56.858 lap. But it's not just the time that is encouraging, it's the first time in a long while that Rossi has looked more like his old self on the Desmosedici. "I’m happy because we went pretty well today, and in particular, the gap to the front makes us fairly optimistic," Rossi said after free practice.
Ducati Restructures Presence in India, Cutting Ties with Distributor Precision Motor
Wed, 11 Dec 2013Ducati announced it is ending its relationship with importer Precision Motor and setting up its own operations in India. Precision Motors has been Ducati’s official importer since 2008, but the relationship has soured recently with reports of poor customer service and delays in deliveries. Ducati will now begin establishing its own dealer network in India, likely relying on the resources of parent company Audi and other Volkswagen Group brands.
