EBR 1190 Wins 2011 European Superbike Championship

Harald Kitsch and the Pegasus Race Team has won its second championship on the EBR 1190RR, capturing the 2011 European Superbike open race class title. The championship follows Kitsch’s win in the 2010 Sound of Thunder V-Twin Championship on the Erik Buell Racing racebike. While the Sound of Thunder championship was won against other V-Twin machines, the European Superbike class included sportbikes from the Japanese Big Four, BMW, Aprilia and Ducati.

2011 Ducati Mega Monster Leaked Sketch

This leaked sketch was found on a Ducati forum where the forum member claims he received it from the dealer that sold him his Streetfighter.  Motorcycle.com published an article last week that shows some spy shots of the new cruiser on the road along with some other information on the potential new bike from Ducati. Rossi to Ducati: The affair begins

WE'VE STUMBLED across a series of videos posted on YouTube which follow the behind-the-scenes action of Valentino Rossi taking his first spin aboard Ducati's 2011 MotoGP racer. Filmed by an insider and posted on 'Tube by those lovely chaps at 'Assphalt and Rubber', the series of six videos follows the nine-time World Champion, as he's introduced to the 2011 machine for the first time. Rossi ended the two-day session at Valencia in 15th place on the timesheets.
