The combination of a versatile Trellis frame and high performance suspension components provides true Superbike performance capable of lightning-quick cornering and extreme riding precision. 43 mm Ã–hlins forks with low friction TiN fork sliders are complemented by a fully adjustable Ã–hlins rear shock with remote preload adjustment to ensure road holding reminiscent of a Superbike. I never tire of track days. Well I wouldn’t as I’m out most weeks earning a crust instructing on them, however, there is usually an amusing story at the end of each event. I get great pleasure helping riders (especially if it makes them safer) although I do come across some weird and wonderful riding in the process.

Ducati Celebrates The Start Of Production For The Monster 1200

Ducati loves having a reason to celebrate, and as the very first Monster 1200 rolled off the production line Monday, yet another reason to party presented itself. Following Ducati tradition, the start of production (SOP) for the Monster 1200, as well as of every new Ducati model, is met with a small ceremony. Here’s how it went down: in front of the entire factory, Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali and Production Director Silvano Fini started the new bike.

2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
