THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION: Custom built rigid frame, stretched and raked. Custom Invader 5 spoke wheels. Custom twisted chrome springer front end. Rebuild TR7 750 twin engine. New flat fender. Tear drop gas tank. Bike was disassembled years ago for rebuild, but at one time was running and driving with this set up. The parts featured in the photos are the only parts I have to go with  the bike. Clear Texas title. Titled as 1992 special construction chopper. Delivery available within the continental U.S. for additional charge. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction ending. Bike must be paid for within 48 hours of auction ending. Funds must clear my bank before bike can be picked up or delivered.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

According to the New York Post, David Letterman is a big motorcycle fan and could watch the same bike being built all week long. One of Letterman’s bikes did appear in the September 2008 issue of American Iron Magazine and he also wrote the forward to Paul Teutul Sr.’s new book “The Ride of a Lifetime” so I guess he walks the walk and talks the talk. If you don’t already know who Paul Teutul Sr.

Buyers spent $4.1 million on rare motorcycles at the inaugural Las Vegas Premier Motorcycle Auction by Auctions America. The auction, held Jan. 12-14 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, featured 490 motorcycles and other memorabilia.
