Fri, 09 Oct 2009The OCC Band, which is composed of Orange County Choppers co-workers, will be featured in this classic rock compilation CD that was curated by Paul Teutul Sr. One of the songs listed on the track list, “Summertime Blues”, will feature Paul Sr. on vocals. The CD will also feature Judas Priest, Ted Nugent, Blue Oyster Cult and many more… New episodes of American Chopper will start on Thursday, October 22nd at 9PM on TLC, but it will be in the second show of the season on October 29th that will focus on the making of the album and the building of the custom bike that appears on the CD cover. Florida Gators Motorcycle Charity Raffle
Tue, 04 May 2010If you happen to be a Florida Gators fan and love custom choppers then this is the raffle for you. The custom Purple Chopper motorcycle, is autographed by Coach Urban Meyer and Heisman winner Tim Tebow. The University of Florida Foundation and the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches will receive 100% of the proceeds. The bike will be raffled off at the UF-South Carolina game on November 13th, tickets are $20 apiece and 7,500 tickets will be sold.
Bonnier Corp., Owners Of Cycle World, Acquire Nine Source Interlink Titles, Including Motorcyclist
Mon, 20 May 2013Bonnier Corporation, owner of Cycle World, Popular Science and Field & Stream magazines, among others, has just inked a deal with Source Interlink Media, acquiring nine of SIM’s motorcycle titles. Terms of the transaction, including purchase price, were not disclosed. Under the deal, Bonnier acquires Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, Dirt Rider, Motorcycle Cruiser, Hot Bike, Baggers, Super Streetbike, Street Chopper and ATV Rider.
