Chopper Chopper tech info
Chopper Chopper description
LOWERED RESERVE! Must sell. Just purchased a new house. I am looking to sell my custom hardtail chopper. I do ride it, but I also have a another bike that is my daily rider and I am in the process of buying a truck so I need to sell her. Specs are: Kraft-Tech 1 1/4 tube Hard Tail frame for 180 or 200 tire, 4 gallon Kraft-Tech tank with pop up cap, 1998 Harley Evo motor with stock internals (not cammed or bored out), Performance Machine footpegs, mirror,s grips and rear brake master cylinder, S&S carb, digital speedo gauge (shows speed, oil pressure, neutral, etc), custom V type handle bars with internal throttle cable, clutch and front brake lines (hydraulic) are run through the bars for clean look, Rev Tech Billet Super Charger "Midnight Series" 21" front rim, , Rev Tech Billet Super Charger "Midnight Series" 18" rear rim, new front and rear Michelin tires, (rear tire is a 180), Rev Tech Sinister 8 Pulley, Rev Tech "Midnight Series" front and rear hubs, Rev Tech Sinister 8 front and rear rotors (center pieces), rotors have been custom machined to match the look of the wheels, Primo 3" open belt drive, new Vance and Hines exhaust AND I will include a set of FSD short pipes ($400 value). I am 5'9" and when I bought this bike from the original owner the seat was super small and I could not reach the foot controls comfortably so I had 2 custom seats made at a custom local shop. I had them add basically padding inside as well as put new leather on them (black) as well as add in red stitching to break it up a little bit. SO there is a solo seat as well as 2 up single piece seat for when you want to take a passenger. Takes about 1 minute to change them out. If you are 6' or taller, you may want to have the seat foam shaved down to make more leg room. Although the bike may look long in the pictures, it feels shorter when you are on it and the controls may be a little too close for really tall people. Title is free and clear and is titled as custom chopper/Kraft Tech and is insured as that. I just had Cadre motorcycle shop service everything on it (oil, transmission, etc) to make sure it was ready to go for summer about 2 months ago. Needs nothing and is ready to ride. I am looking to sell it or possibly trade for a Chevy 2500hd Duramax. I can ship but buyer pays for shipping. I can also help deliver up to a certain point if not too far from Cincinnati. It had taken me a long time to find a simple, clean looking chopper that didn't feel like I was riding a limo or had to spend 40k on a bike. After investing another $4000 after I bought it, it was finally prefect. This bike sits low, is comfortable to ride, and still gets looks without being flashy. I was going to do some kind o f red pinstriping on the tank and tail at some point just to break the paint up a little bit but have not had time due to traveling so much for work. Looks better in person than the pics. I can also do a walk around on video or can supply specific pictures if needed. Email me with any questions. I am sure I am missing something but will post edits once I realize it :)

Natural Habitats
Sat, 26 Jan 2013SAM Christmas has been a professional photographer for the last 3 years and is the man behind Natural Habitats, a collection of photos covering the growing UK custom scene, showing bikes and their builders at home. Sam's clients include the likes of Honda, Dainese, Google, Polo Jeans and Edwin denim but Natural Habitats is a personal project that took one and a half years to complete. I got to meet Sam when the exhibition opened in Shoreditch on Thursday evening.
Custom Electric Motorcycle [video]
Fri, 14 Aug 2009Paul Teutul Sr. from OCC, once again finds himself in the spotlight, this time it’s for building the worlds first totally green custom motorcycle that was commissioned by Siemens. Some features of the bike include: a clutch-less transmission, 27-horsepower engine and a top speed of 100 mph. You can plug the bike into a standard 110-volt plug, takes 5 hours to fully charge and has a 60 mile range on a full charge. The Siemens Smart Chopper will go on tour this year to help promote green technology and will be auctioned off for charity at some point next year.
Motorcycle.com on “American Chopper”: Senior vs. Junior vs. Jesse James
Mon, 05 Dec 2011The infamous “American Chopper” TV juggernaut rolls on, with a two-hour special to be broadcast tonight and culminating with a live event on Tuesday evening in Las Vegas. The interesting thing about this week’s shows is that I’m in Vegas as a guest critic of the builds, a three-team competition between Paul Teutul Senior, Paul Junior and the notorious Jesse James. Earlier today I got a chance to see the vehicles for the first time, and what a trio it is!
