Chopper Chopper description

For your consideration is this 2012 custom motorcycle built by http://www.springerscustomcycles.com/bikes.html  This is a softail model. This was the owner’s bike. It has less than 500 miles on it. I had my mechanic make some changes once I purchased it. I replaced the DNA with a new Paugcho Springer with the damper. Also replaced the front wheel with a lighter model.  Much more compliant ride. Swapped the dual headlights for a new single Headwinds. Installed Avon air grips and pegs all around. Replaced the Revtech with a new Rivera Primo five speed. Also had bullet rear turn signals added. Signals are also integrated into mirrors and break light as well.  For some reason the signals are wired to cut out when any breaking is applied. I never got the logic. I also replaced the breather for a cleaner looking S&S to match the shorty carb. The bike tracks and handles really well. It does have a 250 rear tire, so it corners accordingly.

The bike is running really great.  I made the changes because they were my preferences and I had used those components on other builds with good results. The bike did have one issue; it would cut out on me.  I pulled the fuel lines and noticed the filter was clogged.  Could have been from welding the tank, I don’t know. I cleaned the filter and flushed the lines and the issue has not returned.

The engine is a beautiful Crazy Horse V-plus 45 degree V twin 100 cubic inch 85 bhp @ 5,750 RPM 95 Ft-Lbs @ 2,300 RPM.

The Tins were painted by Nub Grafix.  http://www.nubgrafix.com

Springers is a registered builder and in KBB. Insuring the bike is not an issue.

All that being said, this is still a custom bike. It was not built for touring, but for around town, a bar hopper. It is fun to ride, but not for a beginner. The seasoned rider will have a blast. Plenty of tongue and power. I would highly recommend that the winning bidder have their mechanic go over the bike for their own peace of mind. I ride the bike for my morning cup every day without issues.

The builder may have another bike listed now under custom chopper, not sure.

Builder had a similar bike on American Iron Mag

I am just too old for the bike, turning 60. Although I am on the fence about listing it. The reserve is low.
