Chopper Chopper description

2002 RON SIMMS CUSTOM MOTORCYCLE

Bike has less than 200 miles since it was completely redone! Better than new and in showroom condition.

131 cubic inch (not cc) wouldn't accept cubic inch in engine size listing , 140 horsepower motor, Jims 6 speed transmission, Legend Air Ride, BLD open belt drive, PM wheels, hand controls, caliper grips, pulley and 13 inch floating rotors. Simms thunderhead pro-pipe exhaust. New custom paint job...everything new or redone.

New parts include: all brake lines, oil lines, clutch cable, throttle cables, speedo cable, fork seals and dust covers, fork oil, rotor bolts, pulley bolts, seat pan upholstery, handlebars, hand control switches, LED indicator lights, turn signal lenses, larger/more visible tail lights, HD headlight and visor, gas caps, Twin Tech ignition switch, swing arm bump stops, sealed primary bearing, BDL clutch starter ring, airline, air ride switch, rear tire (front is like new), chrome starter, Lighting Start 450 CCA battery, compression releases, lower chrome heat shield, mirrors that are functional, belt guard and chrome exhaust shields.

Re-chromed parts include: triple trees, hand controls, center of floating rotors, primary cover, brake light mount, front and rear axle covers and pulley, Simms handlebar clamps, rear caliper bracket and motor mount.

STORZ forks were polished and anodized black, THUG motor was rebuilt and polished ($2400.00 with receipt) and bike was rewired.

Bike has less than 200 miles on it since the bike was completely rebuilt, redone and repainted. The odometer now has 9878 miles. Bike has a clear title in hand. Too many toys and not enough time to ride. This bike is fast and loud!

The original cost of this bike was $62,000.00 in 2002 and has the best of everything...you can own it at a fraction of the original cost for $11,000 and it has been completely redone. This is not a used bike that needs to be updated, refurbished or redone...it has already been done. ONE OF A KIND!!! Bike is listed for sale  locally as well and I reserve the right to end the listing for the right offer.

Kittens love wooden motorbikes

Thu, 21 Jun 2012

A chopper true to it's word as Hungarian motorcycle enthusiast Istvan Puskas quite literally spent two years chopping wood to make his dream ride. The one-of-a-kind bike, built by the 52-year-old tractor driver from Budapest, is made from water resistant black locust wood and is powered by a small engine donated from a Fiat. It also turns out that adorable kittens like it too...

American Chopper is Canceled

Mon, 08 Feb 2010

After six seasons, the run is finally over for America’s favorite dysfunctional custom chopper family.  The not so surprising news was announced on Saturday, February 6th by TLC. The Teutuls will always be a part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run. The show was already on its last legs due to all the family drama which includes a lawsuit between Paul Teutul, Sr.

Chopper Powered by Natural Gas

Fri, 29 May 2009

Claiming to be the worlds first, the compressed natural gas chopper was unveiled in Orange County, New York, by none other than Paul Teutul Sr., of Orange County Choppers (OCC) who constructed the chopper for the Chesapeake Energy Corporation. The build will be on OCC at some point this year, not many other details at this point. Hit the jump to watch the unveiling video.
