Chopper Chopper description

81 shovelhead titled as custom build. runs great and is a blast to ride. Has normal oil leaks nothing major though. Has new tires. Loud and low just as it should be. Its a bit wild looking and if you dont like people stopping and watching you drive by I wouldnt buy cause everyone does. No speedo so not sure on milage, but the guy i bought it from said around 5000 on motor rebuild. Does not smoke at all. I work on bikes for a living and this is a good strong running shovelhead. I have a 1980 shovel that I am rebuilding and need to finish,(it was the first harley i ever bought) otherwise I would not be selling this one. Make me an offer but only if you have the financing cause you never no I just might except!

Lawn-Mowing Motorcycle

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle.  Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!

Custom Electric Motorcycle [video]

Paul Teutul Sr. from OCC, once again finds himself in the spotlight, this time it’s for building the worlds first totally green custom motorcycle that was commissioned by Siemens.  Some features of the bike include: a clutch-less transmission, 27-horsepower engine and a top speed of 100 mph.  You can plug the bike into a standard 110-volt plug, takes 5 hours to fully charge and has a 60 mile range on a full charge. The Siemens Smart Chopper will go on tour this year to help promote green technology and will be auctioned off for charity at some point next year.
