Engine: 74" standard bore and stroke matching polished cases, ss barrels, hexed and polished heads with shovelhead upgrade, J grind cam, ss oil pump, su carb, stock ign with hot coil, 12 volt alt.

Exhaust: Paughco threw frame.
Trans: OEM 4 speed with ratchet top, polished case, andrews close ratio gears.
Primary: OEM with 1 1/2" primo belt, Barnett clutch
Frame: Paughco wishbone, finger molded
Gas Tank: 3.1 King Sport
Forks: OEM pre 48 springer with 6" dogbones, drag bars, digital dakota speedo, 7" headlight.
Front Wheel: 21" 40 spoke star hub with avon viper
Rear wheel:  16" 40 spoke with avon viper
Rear Brake: GEM Disc

Jesse James to Appear on American Chopper

In a press release from Discovery Channel, Jesse James is slated to appear in two episodes of American Chopper in December on Discovery Channel. The release states that the two-episode event is a head-to-head build off between Orange County Choppers, headlined, of course, by the notoriously famous Teutul family, and James. According to the release Chopper fans will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite bike after seeing the three finished products during the regularly scheduled American Chopper on Monday, Dec.

I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle.  Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!

Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
