Spanish version of Buell.

A small Spanish company called Bottpower, which specializes in custom motorcycles, has unveiled new photos and a teaser of the XR1R project, a track bike equipped with a Buell V-twin. It is known that the motorcycle is assembled on a titanium frame, equipped with advanced electronics, including three power supply cards, traction control and launch control, and its specific power is close to 1kg per hp.

Jon Bunne, Buell’s Sr. Test Engineer, explains how to set-up your suspension on the Buell 1125R according to your riding style, preference and when riding with a passenger or heavy gear.  Bunne, recommends adjusting the suspension accordingly and demonstrates how to do just that by following the settings that are listed in the owner’s manual. Erik Buell Featured on Entrepreneur.com

Entrepreneur.com, the web presence of Entrepreneur magazine, has a feature article on Erik Buell and his Erik Buell Racing (EBR) company. While the article reveals some lack of knowledge of the two-wheeled world by overusing the term “crotch rocket” as the generic description for sportbikes, this is forgivable considering it’s coming from a publication specializing in small businesses and, well, entrepreneurs, and not motorcycles. The article otherwise does a good job of giving a brief but broad synopsis of Buell and the triumphs and tragedies encountered with BMC (Buell Motorcycle Company) — it’s a good primer on Buell if you’re not fully up to speed on Buell’s life in motorcycles.
