Buell Blast description

This is a 2000 Buell Blast in very good condition and has been customized for better performance, it also happens to be the first year this model came into production.
The engine is a 500 cc single, based on using one cylinder from a Harley Davidson V-twin. It has a low maintenance belt final drive instead of a chain, and a 5-speed transmission.

The bike is original except for the following performance upgrades: Superbrace fork stabilizer, Vance & Hines pipe, Buell pro series K&N open air cleaner assembly, DC custom superboot for carb intake support. The carburetor has been re-jetted to accommodate for the exhaust and open air cleaner upgrades. The seat has been re-done, in addition a throttle "cruise control" lock has been installed; 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum billet 1 inch lowered footpegs by Knight Design also a set of bar ends made from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. These upgrades make this bike quite comfortable on those long rides or make it for a great commuter bike.

It’s recently had an oil change / maintenance and a set of new tires has been installed on it.
This is a very reliable bike, handles extremely well. Also included o
wner’s manual, factory service manual the (CA) tags are good through May 2014.

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

All-American Team Entered For 2014 Isle Of Man TT

Fri, 16 May 2014

Two EBR1190RS race bikes will compete in this year’s Isle of Man TT. This is historic in itself, as never has a Buell motorcycle competed on the famed course. Making the moment more special is the fact both pilots are also Americans: TT veteran, and 2010 TT Zero race winner Mark Miller, and relative newcomer to the TT, Brandon Cretu.
